Kehillah
OYR Sunday Soccer is an
intramural program that
instructs boys and girls, pre-K
through 8th grade, in the basics
of soccer. The pre-K program
meets between 11 am and 12:00
pm; all other grades meet
between the hours of 1 pm and 5
pm divided into three sessions.
All practices and games are held
on the Mandell Campus.
Participants will be exposed to
game skills, game strategy & the
importance of teamwork. Most of
all, they will meet new friends
and have fun! All children
receive equal playing time.

The Mitzvah Food Project
needs your help to deliver
food boxes to seniors in
need! We are relying on
support from our community
to deliver food boxes to
nearby senior homes and
apartments-once a month-from
two of our pantry
locations. Boxes are
provided by the Commodity
Supplemental Food
Program(CSFP).
Now is your chance to do a
wonderful mitzvah this
summer: sign up for a
delivery route today!
Delivery routes are local
and will take approximately
30 minutes. Recipients will
sign for the food box at the
door. Please know...we must
fill these routes in order
to pilot this new program.

lecture. Centennial Tours explore
the history, art and architecture of
Memorial Hall, first home of the

Community Programs and Events
JRA Food Distributions
The following are the upcoming
food distribution dates:
August 8, September 19, October
17, November 7 and Dec. 19.
JRA food distributions take
place one Sunday each month
throughout the year at the
warehouse in Northeast
Philadelphia. From 10:00 until
11:30 volunteers work together
to package kosher,
non-perishable food in boxes.
After packing, volunteers load
their cars and deliver the food
packages to each of the
recipient families according to
pre-determined delivery routes,
complete with driving directions
and maps. Volunteers may stop
back at the warehouse to return
any undeliverable boxes or, if
there are no boxes to be
returned, volunteers may mail or
fax the delivery route to the
JRA business office. Most
delivery routes take between
30-60 minutes to complete.
