In this program, Diane compares the relationship of these wives to their husbands and the relationship of these two sons to their fathers. She will discuss the similarities and differences between these relationships in a Caucasian family and in an African-American family.
It will feature some moving monologues from these plays by Arthur Miller and August Wilson, who were considered to be the best of America’s contemporary playwrights.
