While we have many upper school teens who are familiar with PAR, we have a large community that are not. Here's a small description of NFTY-PAR: Our region is called PAR (Pennsylvania Area Region). Teens from all over PA come together several times a year. NFTY-PAR has always been an amazing way to connect to others outside of our synagogue and make life-long friends. Programs, mixers, services, social action, social justice, leadership and fun activities have been the cornerstone of NFTY PAR. It was always tremendous and we hope to continue down the pre-covid path. If you want extra information, you can read a little about PAR at https://www.facebook.com/nftypar/|
The RAC Teen Justice Fellowship is a wonderful experience for teens in 9-12th grade to connect with other social justice leaders, explore their passions, gain advocacy experience, and have a great leadership experience for their college application.
The Teen Jews of Color Fellowship is a transformative experience for 11th and 12th graders that offers an inclusive and vibrant space for participants to explore and engage with all their intersecting identities, form community, cultivate leadership skills, and create meaningful projects based on their learnings. We welcome teens with a range of diverse Jewish identities including (but not limited to) mixed race Jews, transracial adoptees, Asian, Black, Latine, Sephardic, Mizrachi, Persian Jews, and many others.
The five-month Teen Israel Organizing Fellowship offers an incredible opportunity for teens to join a community of 9-12th graders who are curious about Israel, eager to gain tools to speak about it with clarity and complexity, and ready to engage deeply with the issues they care about most. This is a great opportunity for teens who are passionate about social change, leadership, and Israel!
The Madrichim Fellowship is our newest learning lab designed to help teen madrichim be more effective in the classroom and create a more inclusive world outside of it. 8-9th grade Fellows will learn classroom management, how to build inclusive environments, and leadership skills that help everyone feel welcome and supported.

- Center for Scholars & Storytellers (CSS) at UCLA Study Virtual Focus Group
- CSS is seeking Jewish youth ages 14–17 to participate in a virtual focus group. These small group discussions will bring together a few teens in a guided conversation led by members of our research team. The conversation will focus on how young people think about religion or spirituality, where they go to learn or ask questions about these topics, how media and online spaces influence their perspectives, and how these experiences connect to their sense of identity and community. Participants will receive a gift card as a thank-you for their time.
