Thursday, December 8 at 1 p.m., the Library Book Discussion Group will again meet in person in the library to discuss the book, A Play for the End of the World, by Jai Chakrabarti, which is AJL’s Jewish Fiction Award “honor” award winner. Moving fluidly from 1942 Warsaw to 1970s New York and India, A Play for the End of the World touches on themes of love and loss, friendship, guilt, the cost of war, the role of art, and the power of imagination.
