Jews Love Baseball w/ Isaak Kruger

Book Discussion and Movie. Two consecutive weeks in November:

Week #2–Wednesday November 8th at 1:00 pm

In conjunction with the 2023 Baseball World Series, Isaak Kruger will present an exploration of the topic of Jews and Baseball.

The first week we will gather in the library and via zoom to discuss the book The Natural by Bernard Malamud. Then the following week we will gather again to watch director Barry Levinson’s 1984 great baseball movie: The Natural with Robert Redford and Glen Close. After which we will have a discussion led by Isaak Kruger. The library has the book nd it is available to be borrowed, taken home and read in advance of the November 1st discussion. But please feel free to come and participant in the discussions and film viewing even if you have not read the book! Isaak will have some interesting knowledge and opinions to share on the topic!
