This coming Friday evening, January 27th at 7pm, join together with others in the community to recognize International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Our spiritual leadership and professional choir will host a very special program designed to honor both victims and survivors of the Nazi atrocity, with scheduled performances by the choirs of KI and Congregation Or Hadash in Fort Washington. Grounded in the rich tradition of cantorial excellence and high level of musicianship which continue at KI and Or Hadash to this day, the musical portion of the program will feature performances that leave the listener with a greater appreciation for the resilience and faith that resided in our ancestors, and which still live within all of us.
