My name is Jocelyn Brooke Himes and my Bat Mitzvah is June 11. For my Mitzvah project, I have been assisting with Shabbat and holiday services for the past 10 years at Sunrise in Abington. In April 2020, I lost my Ba-bo (grandmother) to COVID-19. A month later, Inlovingmemory19 was created in her honor as a support group for those who lost loved ones to COVID. I created the logo: the yellow is for COVID and the rose is for her name. I approve new members, and approve posts as well as take photos and videos at memorials. I recently co-authored a book, Voices-19, to honor my Ba-bo as well as all those lost to COVID. I attend Keith Valley Middle School where I am in the 7th grade. I like horseback riding and boxing. My parents are Bari and Richard Himes.
