July 8 – Contemporary Anti-semitism

Until a few years ago, anti-Semitism in the United States was generally on the decline. While it did not totally disappear, it did not represent any kind of existential threat to the American Jewish community. Today, with the rise of white supremacy and a number of the nihilistic and violent groups, Jewish security, both personal and communal, have become urgent issues. In this session we will explore the nature and trajectory of contemporary American anti-Semitism.
