Rebecca Schwartz is a professional singer, guitarist, and Shalshelet award-winning Jewish composer.  She has written and co-produced five albums (four spiritual and one secular), several singles, two songbooks, and has written and recorded songs to help teach autistic children.  Rebecca has also been commissioned to write songs for special occasions. 

Rebecca serves as Cantorial Soloist at Congregation Kol Ami in Elkins Park, PA.  She has performed and presented workshops at major conferences and festivals in the United States, Canada, Israel, and The Netherlands.  Rebecca has been published in numerous Jewish songbooks and compilations, including Shalshelet’s First International Festival of New Liturgical Music, Kol Isha (published by the Women Cantors’ Network), and nine times by Transcontinental Music Publications within the Union for Reform Judaism’s American Conference of Cantors.

Rebecca serves as Executive Vice President for the Women Cantors’ Network and is a member of the Guild of Temple Musicians. Rebecca’s most important role is partner to her husband Joel and mother to their two grown sons, Jeffrey and Eric.  For more information, please visit www.rebeccasongs.com
