Arnold B. Meshkov MD, local cardiologist and lifetime KI member (former President) will discuss his new book Chasing the Widowmaker – The History of the Heart Attack Pandemic (Amazon – Koehlerbooks) and the role that a local man played to unlock the key to medications to lower cholesterol and prevent heart attacks, winning the Nobel Prize in Medicine in the process. Michael S. Brown MD, Nobel Prize Winner and Cheltenham High School graduate, will join us as our special guest.
