At our Shabbat Services, people of all ages enjoy the opportunity to come together for an evening of reflection and worship. These services give everyone a place to greet, and be greeted by, friends and to make new ones. A place to connect to Judaism and to each other, our Shabbat services celebrate each other's simchas and support each other in times of need.

Our regular Friday Night Service begins at 8 p.m. and is filled with joyful music and prayer. Sermon topics range from current events to timely and relevant discussions of the Torah portion, giving new insight into our Jewish tradition and contemporary issues.

We have a monthly Shabbat Family Service, complete with participatory music, student involvement and the warmth of families celebrating Shabbat together. Our monthly "Tot Shabbat" features the famous "KI Puppets," birthday blessings, engaging songs and a festive dinner. Alternatively, members enjoy our "Blue Jeans Shabbat" (a casual Shabbat experience featuring guitar music) that draws from all parts of our membership, especially teens and their families.

In addition to our weekly Shabbat morning service on Saturdays, we offer a Shabbat Chavurah (a lay led participatory service), a Mini-Minyan and Junior Congregation for students, "Havdalah Happenings" to end Shabbat and occasional afternoon Shabbat services. On the third Saturday of each month, KI sponsors an afternoon Shabbat Services at Rydal Park Retirement Home.
